Music is such an integral part of what it is to be human. For all of known human history, music has been a part of the very fabric of life; an invisible force that binds people and cultures together in some unseen, mystical way. To sing, or play an instrument, is to commune with the universe at a fundamental level. Our heartbeats, the breaths that we take, every movement we make are all a part of a rhythm, a universal dance, and we express this through sound.
Music has been a refuge, a healing place, a place of worship, a gathering of friends, a place of joy and a place of sustenance.
